Learn, Play, Grow

This Spring and Summer The Nature Nanny is putting together mulitple camp sessions in Seattle and on the Olympic Peninsula to get your kids outside, learning and engaged in the natural environment. The program is designed to build confidence, inspire curiosity and learn the skills to thrive in the outdoor classroom. Over the course of the week your child will have fun while exploring the park and learn from a nature-based curriculum some of the following topics such as:

- How to identify flora and fauna

- How to identify poisonous plants

- Foraging edible and medicinal plants

- Navigating with map and compass

- Principles of Leave no Trace

- How to use a field guide

And more!

The Nature Nanny provides a safe learning environment for your child to explore, ask questions and challenge themselves. Small group sizes and flexible curriculums allow for student-led learning opportunities and inquiry based learning
